Backerkit Shipping Costs

Hello Backers!
We sent out Pledge Manager surveys yesterday and as of now over 50% of y’all have completed those. Thank you so much for being on top of it!
We have been getting a lot of questions regarding shipping costs, mainly affecting the people who initially pledged $1 during the campaign. Backerkit is showing the WRONG shipping amount until you actually fill in your shipping address. Since those backers didn’t give their addresses during the campaign, Backerkit is just taking the weight of the products and pulling a generic shipping quote until they get the address. So please, please make sure the pledge manager knows your shipping address before getting upset about the cost of shipping 🙂
If you would like to change your pledge level you need to click on “Switch Pledge Level” when you open the survey NOT “Get Started”. This will allow you to purchase any of the bundles and other levels we had available during the campaign. And then you can add-on any other PHG products that you’d like to add to your order.

Greetings, spacers!
We are happy to announce that y’all will be receiving access to the Wandering Galaxy pledge manager next week. So keep an eye out for that email to hit your inbox!
This is the time to add your shipping address and add on any other Plaid Hat Games products that your heart desires. In addition to the pledge levels that were available during the campaign, we have color-coded RPG dice, and the highly requested extra character sheets for both Freelancers: A Crossroads Game and Forgotten Waters available. Plus this is your chance to pick up our other fantastic titles such as Jerry Hawthorne’s previous game Familiar Tales, Quirky Circuits, Hickory Dickory and Summoner Wars (with a great discount on a 2nd Edition Bundle!)
These Backerkit surveys need to be filled out by November 15th to lock in add-ons, shipping addresses, and credit card information. We plan on charging for shipping at the end of November or early December, but we’ll communicate that date beforehand!

That’s it, spacers! The Wandering Galaxy campaign is officially over. Thank you so much for all of your support and for making Plaid Hat Games’ first kickstarter a successful one! You have no idea how much you’ve all warmed our cold, unfeeling hearts.
The pledge manager will be sent out later this year where you will each be able to pay for shipping and add on additional Plaid Hat products, including the much requested extra character sheets for all Crossroads games! So make sure to be on the lookout for that in your inbox this fall.
Until then we’ll be hard at work finishing up the campaign stories, recording and editing audio, polishing the web app, and generally making Wandering Galaxy the best damn space adventure you’ll ever play!
You will be hearing from us on a monthly basis where we will provide you with updates on where the project is at. If things get especially spicy, like when we near delivery, we might update you more. But you don’t need to wait for updates to reach out to us! Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, either through the Kickstarter platform or [email protected].

And speaking of audio! We managed to get Wandering Galaxy’s narrator, the fantastic voice acting veteran, Elizabeth Maxwell, on the Plaid Hat Podcast for a chat. She’s been in multiple PHG games, including Forgotten Waters and Familiar Tales, and has lended her voice to numerous video game and anime titles. Come hear her thoughts on a variety of things.

We dropped the second Kickstarter chat today, featuring Colby, Jerry, and Donald discussing some FAQs that we’ve seen. Learn how to use the Zephyr stickers AND hear how it helps Plaid Hat Games when players choose to back Wandering Galaxy.
Plaid Hat Games will be running two tables of demos for Wandering Galaxy at Booth #2221, every day of Gen Con this year. Stop by and try out the special scenario that we designed just for cons! Can YOU retrieve the stolen pallet of cards and get them to the convention center in a neighboring system? ‘Cause the crime boss whose cards you lost isn’t going to listen to excuses. The only way to experience this story is to drop by our booth and play the demo! Last year, our con-only scenario for Freelancers: A Crossroads Game was a big hit, and you’re not going to want to miss this one!
