This is a quick note to let you know that all Wandering Galaxy story books have been delivered in Asia, marking the end of fulfillment for this campaign. Audio Complete, Most Books Delivered

Hello, spacers!
Plaid Hat Games has returned from Gen Con '25, where Wandering Galaxy had a prominent place at our booth. Many of you stopped by and chatted with us, and we were able to show the game off to a whole new audience. Thanks to everyone who made this possible. But now, the news you've been anxiously awaiting!
AUDIO IS 100% COMPLETE!
Joe, our tech guru who designed the app, just a ran a test and confirmed that audio is now assigned to every single entry that required it (about 4,800 out of 6,000 or so total entries!). The app is done. While production delays are normal, and any experienced backer is accustomed to delays, audio isn't a typical feature of board games and we cannot overstate how much we appreciate everyone's patience while we worked through this. Sure, you could play the game without audio, but for many, the audio provides the best possible experience. There might be an undiscovered bug or two to squash, but we are delighted to say app development is complete, and only basic maintenance is required going forward. For those of you who have been waiting for the audio in order to play, we hope you get hours of fun out of Wandering Galaxy!
STORY BOOKS
Some of you ordered printed story books (totally optional) to accompany your copy of the game. If you did not, you can ignore this section. US, Canadian, UK, and EU fulfillment are complete! The books destined for Australia, Asia, and elsewhere have arrived at the hub in Australia. People in the general Australian area should begin receiving their books soon, while Asia will still take a while. We'll let you know when all fulfillment of the story books has been confirmed as complete.

The End is Nigh!

Hello spacers!
We are excited to say, this is likely one of the final updates you will be receiving from us regarding this campaign!
First, we have shipped all of the books from our warehouse in the US. US backers will receive theirs first, and indeed, some are starting to already. For the rest of the world, they are either on their way to a hub, or have arrived at a hub, from which they will be mailed out. We're looking forward to you getting your hands on these large tomes!
Earlier in the year, some backers who didn't pledge for a book, asked if they could still buy one. We will be sending out a link to those people soon so they can place an order. For those who missed that window, we will be putting the remainder of our stock of books up on our web-store, and we'll let you know in an update once those are available.
The second part of this update is in regards to the audio. We have completed the vast majority of the audio and uploaded it to the app. There are still a few missing entries here and there, but completion is at 95-97%! We ran a search and identified the random missing entries, and are in the process of getting them added. We are excited to finally say that the remaining audio work can be measured in days rather than months! Our audio guru, Donald, is especially excited to finally see this enormous project drawing to a close. Below is a picture of him hard at work on this final stage.

We will send another (brief) update once we have verified the audio is 100% complete. After that, the only updates we will be sending will be regarding the Wandering Galaxy book, and verifying that each hub has completed their shipments.

Big Milestone for Audio

Hello Spacers,
We wanted to give a quick update to let you know that all audio has now been recorded! Donald is currently hard at work editing everything for publication. Here's the most recent tracker:
The books have been printed! We discovered a handful of errors where the program we used to extract the entries got confused by the naming conventions of a few entries. To fix it, we ordered some sticker sheets, and we'll attach them to the books before we send them out. We'll let you know when shipping begins!
The Big Book

Well, spacers, the Wandering Galaxy book came in for us to test, and we were quite pleased with it. That is, after we threw out our backs lifting it up. Take a look at this beast.
It's sizable. Below is the book stacked up beside the Forgotten Waters and Freelancers volumes.
Yes, it's bigger than both of the other two combined! Just think, not only will you be able to use this entry book to play the game, but doing so will also tone your arms.
We wanted to ensure the Wandering Galaxy book would hold up to use, so we abused it a little. We found it practical despite its size, and the spine handled itself well. We were pleased with it and officially confirmed the order with the printer. This stage should go quickly. We will send an update once we hear the print run is complete and ready to be sent to us.
We've had a large number of our location files be completed since the last update, with two more (Rubal and Incursion) likely completing by the end of this week. The audio for this game is finally rolling toward its conclusion. We have more or less collected audio for all actors, leaving only our intrepid narrator!
